How early do you need to book a custom dress making?
We recommend securing a consultation at least 2 or more weeks in advance, allowing sufficient time for development, fittings, and refinement.
What is the process of the dress making?
- Private consultation-
conceptual direction, references, and client brief - Design development- sketching, fabric sourcing, and construction planning
- Measurement session-
detailed body mapping - Toile fitting- initial structure and silhouette validation
- Garment fitting(s) - refinement of line, drape, and proportion
- Final fitting — finishing, adjustments, and completion
Will appointments be with the designer and label owner personally?
Yes, all bespoke clients work directly with me to ensure continuity of vision and a highly personal experience.
Do fittings occur?
Fittings are integral to the process. Each stage is used to perfect proportion, balance, and movement. However if you are not based in the UK we provide alternate practices to ensure good fitting.
Is there a deposit?
A deposit is required to initiate the design and secure atelier time. The remaining balance is due prior to final delivery.
Each piece is created as an object of permanence, designed not only to be worn, but to be kept, revisited, and remembered.
